Scholz Rebar has steeled new pools and spas across Arizona since 1984. We tie the full cage to your engineered plans — floors, walls, steps, benches, and spas — and leave it ready for pre-gunite inspection. It's the foundation phase of the entire build, and it's all we do.
What We Steel on a New Build
A complete shell is more than floor and walls. Every element below is tied into one continuous cage — the way the engineer drew it.
Pool Shell & Floor
The full floor and wall mat — bar size, spacing, and clearances per plan — shaped to the excavation from shallow end to deep.
Attached & Raised Spas
Spa shells tied into the pool structure, including raised spas with spillways that carry both water and structural load.
Steps, Benches & Swim-Outs
Interior features formed in steel first — entries, loveseats, tanning ledges, and swim-outs that become part of the monolithic shell.
Bond Beam
The reinforced beam at the top of the shell that ties the whole structure together and carries your coping and decking above it.
Water Feature Tie-Ins
Steel for waterfalls, sheer descents, and feature walls integrated with the shell — so features are structure, not afterthoughts.
Site-Specific Details
Deepened footings, expansive-soil details, and engineered conditions specific to your lot — steeled per the structural drawings.
